This page covers what darkroomarea.com collects, why, and what happens to it.

The site is run by Darkroom Area, New York City. Responsible party: [Placeholder: legal name of the person or business that runs Darkroom Area]

What we collect

Mailing list. Your email address, the page you signed up on, and the date and time you signed up. Nothing else.

Contact form. Your name, email address, the topic you pick, your message, and the date and time you sent it.

That is all this site collects. There are no visitor accounts, no payments and no tickets on this site. Tickets are sold by the ticketing partner linked on each event page, under that partner's own policy.

The site sets no cookies for visitors and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Like any website, the hosting provider receives basic request data, such as your IP address and browser type, when a page loads.

Why

Your mailing-list address is used to send line-up announcements and pre-sale links.

Contact form details are used to reply to your message.

The mailing list

The mailing list is opt-in. You are only added if you enter your address and press Subscribe. Joining the mailing list is the only thing your address is used for. It is never sold, and never shared with other promoters.

Who else can see it

Darkroom Area staff with access to the site admin.

Lovable, which hosts this site and stores its database.

Google, which serves the site's fonts. When a page loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details. It does not receive your email address or anything you type into a form.

This site does not send email itself. To send the mailing list, the list of addresses is exported and sent through [Placeholder: name of the email service used to send the mailing list].

How long it is kept

Mailing-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for them to be deleted.

Contact form messages are kept until you ask for them to be deleted.

Nothing is deleted automatically.

Unsubscribing

Email info@darkroomarea.com from the address you signed up with and ask to be taken off the mailing list. Your address is then deleted from the list.

A copy of your data, or deletion

Email info@darkroomarea.com to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or to have it deleted. The copy is sent to the email address it belongs to. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address.
